Hej!

My name is Julia and I am a story telling photographer. That is the best way I can describe it at least. I photograph portraits to weddings, to music and editorial. I focus on telling the story of the person in front of my camera. Connecting with the people I work with is really important and it allows me to capture more intimate moments.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden I spent my childhood in the archipelago, swimming and being out in nature. When it was time for university, I was hungry for seeing something else and moved to Edinburgh, Scotland where I completed my Photography BA (hons) with an award for ‘Best In Show’ for my final project ‘Nu Äter Vi!” exploring the connection between food, traditions and culture.
